2014 has been a pretty great year. One of the best parts of having a blog is that it’s a convenient photo diary to look back on, in fact it makes it hard to pick out the best times. I’ve had so many amazing times in 2014, and some less amazing ones, but these are the highlights that stand out:
Hosted my first live radio show
I still remember what was going through my mind seconds before my first show: ‘Why did I agree to do this?! What is wrong with me?! As soon as this is over I’m never doing this again. EVER.’ But then I loved it. It’s still terrifying though.
Snorkelled on the Ningaloo Reef
There is a reason this place is world heritage listed. I took lots of bad underwater photos of fish which you can see here, here, here or here.
Visited Tasmania for the first time
Which I loved! We saw snow in the north and ate delicious things in Hobart.
Attended my first arts conference as a delegate
I was part of the Regional Arts Australia Summit Young Reference Group that executed the Humans of the Summit project, the Couch Fort and sat on panels (scary). I also got to shave the side of a strangers head, see amazing acrobats, fire performers and make amazing friends.
Moved into a house with a white picket fence
And found out about the interesting character that lived there in 1937. See the cute inside here.
Had two recipes printed in a book
Cheesecakes! Obviously. See more here.
Met this guy
And as always, had lots of amazing times with lots of amazing people:
At the Goldfields Children Charity Ball:
At the Easter Feaster.
At the Nullarbor Muster.
At Lauren’s circus themed 30th.
Camping at Lake Ballard .
With my darling Melbourne girls and family:
Celebrating Dad’s 60th.
At Kalgoorlie cocktail parties
And the Kalgoorlie Cup:
In Bali.
I even made a video!
At our Cowboys & Indians housewarming party:
And more recently over Christmas.
Thanks everyone who made 2014 so special. I’m looking forward to seeing what 2015 brings.
