Last Sunday I
accidentally missed post party clean up headed to Fossick Handmade for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. The tea party was held to announce the winners of their Totally Wild Tea Cosy competition. There was tea, sweet treats:
Plenty of amazingly creative tea cosies:
And great company.
Isn’t Ellenmary’s bee brooch darling? It comes from Broome.
As you know, I’m usually very shy and avoid photo booths at all costs, but I made an exception this time (HA!).
I bought this adorable knitted tea cosy:
Can’t wait to pick it up in a couple of weeks after the exhibition.
“Take some more tea,” the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
“I’ve had nothing yet,” Alice replied in an offended tone, “so I can’t take more.”
“You mean you can’t take less,” said the Hatter: “it’s very easy to take more than nothing.”
“Nobody asked your opinion,” said Alice.”
Plans for the weekend? Tomorrow I’m going on a tour of one of Kalgoorlie’s historical brothels, as you do.
