Blogging isn’t a lonely existence. Through my humble corner of the internet I have ‘met’ some lovely and talented ladies. Our little community is so supportive, quick to compliment and even quicker to pick you up when you are down. Hardly the trolls you constantly hear about, leaving behind them a wake of negativity and hatred in the form of blog comments.
Recently, the effervescent Rosemary from Lashes & Lattes sent me a package with some things she thought I would love. Have you heard of anything so sweet? Not because she wanted the credit, or something in return, but because she was out shopping and saw some things I’d enjoy (including the earrings I’m wearing in this pic – love them!).
The internet is the best.
I thank my lucky stars everyday for the positivity, encouragement, compliments and blessing it is to be a part of this little world – and being “surrounded” by such beautiful and genuinely lovely people. Rosemary is one of the sweetest ! Your so lucky to receive such a sweet little gift ! And they are totally your color! Haha 😀
Having you all is kind of like blogging with airbags, despite all the haters out there I know I have a network of amazing friends that will still visit Le Blog if I have a crappy post (or five…). God Bless the Internet! xx
Being a blogger, being on Twitter, is like being in high school – but a wonderful high school where everyone’s friends with everyone. We share ideas, we compliment each other, we look to each other for inspiration…and boy do we have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. I adore you Bec for all of these things and more. xx
I agree completely (with the high school analogy!), I think the best moments are like your post Only A Tweet Away. When something bad happens and you get this rush of people asking if you’re alright. We also laugh SO MUCH, especially over things like when the internet tells Adrienne she looks like Steven Segal!! Ridic. I love your blog Sonia, thanks for being so amazing and such a great friend xx
What a great post, I couldn’t agree more! As a busy stay at home mumma, I don’t get to see my friends as much as I like, but through Twitter and blogging I have met an amazing group of supportive, fun, friendly and beautiful girls to ‘hang out’ with every day. And the sharing is the best! In real life, people are sometimes slow to share – but sharing is what blogging is all about, sharing ideas, bargains, fashion tips, make up, life – the list goes on and on. And I love meeting new people and discovering blogs like yours. Your newest fan. Amy xxx

You’re so right blogging community is wonderful. Though I wouldn’t say – everybody equally nice and supportive. Sadly, the bigger your blog the more nastiness you’ll get… Sad. But anyways, we’ll concentrate on positives and negatives will leave to those who creates them.
Have a lovely day!
xx
I’m so glad you liked them lovely! And I do agree with Sonia and Adrienne and Maria, we have a lovely community. You ladies make me laugh, support me, make me feel good about myself and my blog. And I love knowing that I have this incredible group of amazing women that are just a tweet away. I’m always here for all of you, and I know you’ll always be there for me. We’re all very lucky to have one another xxx
That is one of the sweetest things ever, I know it would make my day.
I hope to meet as many wonderful people as you have, as for many complicated reasons I don’t have many friends, maybe 2 or 3, and it can be quite lonely at times – so this little post really cheered me up.
