This post could also be called ‘The difference a day makes’ or ‘what goes around comes around’ or ‘it’s called a break up because it’s broken’. Actually scratch that last one, I’m pretty sure that’s the title of a book and no doubt under copyright.

After yesterday’s sob story for a blog post it’s quite hilarious that this morning should have been such a triumph. Let’s just say I had a very clear light bulb moment. Let’s just say that a guy who you love that is planning the trip of a lifetime around South America with another girl probably isn’t worth your time. It took a text message, detailing such plans, for me to finally wake the hell up.

And wake up I did. I can finally see clearly that I am not at fault and have nothing else to do but carry on with my otherwise fantastic life. I can only be proud of the way I have carried myself over the last few months, so on wards and upwards! Leave the ass-monkies to their ass-monkery.

The title of this blog post is one of my very favourite songs by Beyonce called ‘The best thing I never had’ and if you have recently been wronged in a romantic sense I implore you to watch the video for therapy. I’ll wait.

I was going to give you a run down of all the best moments, but there are far too many. Beyonce strutting around all smug on her fictitious wedding day is so fabulous.

Thanks to everyone who commented yesterday and today, thanks for the calls, the messages and thank you everyone who has been around me over the past little while, I promise my company will only become more enjoyable from here on in. I haven’t shed a single tear today and don’t plan on wasting another one on him again.
