Yesterday my man-friend and I headed to the park armed with blankets, cushions, newspapers and delicious food and drink to bask in the sunshine for a couple of hours (really the only sun-related activity available to those living 400km from the nearest beach…).
We munched on smoked salmon and cream cheese baguettes, homemade hummus, fruit and chocolate and sipped on Pimm’s before sunning ourselves like fat sea mammals. Dericious.

We spent our weekend traveling from Newcastle to Brisbane. Nothing like being trapped in the car with a two year old for ten hours! x

Yay! When i did the story for Golden Fresh fruit’n’veg I was hoping I could swap it for Em Kebabs recipe for hummus but i didn’t have the balls to ask lol :((
